Mindful breathing for adults is something we know we should incorporate into our day, but often forget due to the many distractions we face! So, what is it? In its most simplistic form, mindful breathing is a powerful meditation practice where the aim is to focus all your attention on your breath. When you pay attention to the ebb and flow of your breath, you become drawn into the movement. Your mind will wander, it’s what our minds naturally do, just keep bringing your focus back to the gentle inhalation and exhalation, the movement of your chest up and down, and the feeling of relaxation that floods your body.
